Analysis of public facility (Petrol Pump Station) localization by using Geographic Information System (GIS). Case study: Ayer Hitam - Batu Pahat, Johor

Abstract The number of vehicles on the road today is increasing due to rapid urbanisation, which necessitates increased fuel consumption. As a result, Petrol Pump Station (PPS) an important location that serves people in need fuel. This study evaluates these PPS within Batu Pahat District with goals determining existence distribution along main from Ayer Hitam Pahat, Johor, focus Jalan and Kluang, using map digitising GIS software. also aims use Network Analysis method analyse localization area. used Quantum (QGIS) as open-source application. Field surveys were collect data for study, coordination each was acquired handled Global Positioning System (GPS) device, well other information such type company, pumps, fuel, access facility provided.
